Wanpi World Safari Zoo covers an area of 20 hectares and is the largest zoo in southern Taiwan. Featuring a semi-open viewing environment, it offers visitors some of the best opportunities in Taiwan to get up close to animals.
The zoo is home to more than 300 species of friendly and adorable animals, including favorites among visitors of all ages such as giraffes, capybaras, kangaroos, African penguins, fennec foxes, and macaws. It is also the only zoo in Taiwan where visitors can see servals and Komodo dragons.
In addition to its animal attractions, the zoo features six large amusement rides, an outdoor climbing play area, and a newly opened animal-themed water park.
