more Hualien’s Yiyuan Resort is the only country-style "rural"based large resort in eastern Taiwan. Situated on 13 hectares of land blessed with blue skies and white clouds, the resort has many mature old trees and green lawns. There are more than 3000 transplanted trees, and around 800 of them are more than 50 years old. Among the older trees, there are more than 30 that were carefully nurtured back to life. Each of these rescued trees come with a moving story, making this resort abound with educational, landscaping and cultural significance.
When you come to Yiyuan, enjoy a hot cup of tea, feed the fish, play pool, rent a bike for a leisure bike ride, etc. You can try our activities or do nothing at all, but be sure not to miss the birds chirping and insects buzzing.
